Jill Dempsey and Shelby Schmalbeck bring over 25 years of shared experience rooted in youth sports, leadership, and community impact. Their partnership began as freshman roommates in college—Shelby arriving as an international basketball player with experience in England, and Jill as an All-American rugby athlete—both shaped early by the discipline, teamwork, and opportunity that sports create.

From competitive athletics and coaching to nonprofit leadership and international development, their work reflects a deep, lived commitment to the role of sports in building opportunity, resilience, and community—across the U.S. and globally.
